Jenna Payne rented Robert Wise’s THE HAUNTING for her 2nd grade slumber party and has proudly creeped out friends, family, and colleagues ever since. Hobbies include: buckets of blood, fast talking, and dangerous women. Her first short film "Feline Frenzy" about a serial killer of orange tabby cats and her Appalachian Godfather for television pilot script SHINER has been recognized by festivals and competitions. Jenna is eager to make her mark and build a sustainable way for Hollywood to uplift diverse storytellers – with a bite.
Kelly Krause is an archaeologist turned screenwriter via burlesque (you heard right). Despite her love for rhinestones and sequins, she has a flair for the macabre, earning accolades through PAGE, Shore Scripts, Roadmap Writers, and Screencraft for her genre work. She is currently developing a dark fantasy series based on the Bay Area witch community, of which she is a proud member. With an insatiable passion for genre (or “all the fun stuff” as she calls it), Kelly seeks to make women-led genre content the norm rather than the exception.
Supporting Fresh Genre Talent
We pride ourselves in discovering and supporting breakthrough filmmakers in horror, sci fi, and action as an homage to our lifelong love of genre. We are constructing a company with a pay-it-forward attitude where finished filmmakers mentor the next class of talent with their own debut films.
